Saudi Post tracking

All SPL shipments can be found on the Postal Ninja package tracker by entering the tracking number in the search field and clicking the "Find by tracking number" button.

Saudi Post is Saudi Arabia's national postal service, responsible for delivering international postal shipments and internal correspondence to individuals and legal entities. It also provides an urgent postal service and carries out EMS shipments. EMS shipping rates with SPL are higher, but allow for speedy delivery.

There are two types of general prohibitions and restrictions that are typical of all postal services: weight/measurement and content. All necessary information can be found on the official SPL website. The permitted types and possible restrictions for the shipment of goods also depend on the country of destination.

What are SPL tracking numbers like?

Letters and parcels are sent with a SPL tracking number, which can be used to track the movement of the package. The sender may not register small packages and letters, in which case they will not have a tracking number.

Approved format for the tracking number of registered international postal items. The tracking number SPL has the same appearance and consists of 13 symbols:

  • RA123456785SA: small packages from Saudi Arabia weighing up to 2 kg always start with the letter R, from the word Registered;

  • CD123456785SA: the tracking number for SPL shipments weighing up to 20 kg always starts with the letter C;

  • EE123456785SA: EMS express deliveries start with the letter E.

A 13-character tracking number encodes: The type of shipment in the first letter, and the second part with all digits guarantees a uniqueness. The last two letters refer to the country of the postal service; e.g. CN for China Post, US for United States Postal Service, etc.

Tracking of SPL postal packages

Through the tracking number, you can find a package from Saudi Arabia and find out in which distribution center it is located, when it passed through export and import, and arrived at the post office.

The sender can obtain the tracking number for a SPL shipment by registering it at the post office. You can also register a shipment remotely. Remember, however, that electronic registration does not guarantee that the sender has actually sent the item. In the former case, the physical delivery of the item is immediate, so the tracking information is very quickly added into the tracking system and the recipient can immediately verify the start of the international postal shipment.
