Types of Sonapost tracking numbers
Postal shipments are grouped into two categories, and the main classification criterion is weight: small parcels are up to 2 kg; shipments are over 2 kg. The international postal identifier consists of an alphanumeric sequence:

The first letter R indicates that it is a registered small parcel; for shipments, the letter will be C; EMS mail begins with the letter E. The digits ensure that the number is unique. The last letters determine the country of the postal service from which the package was sent.
Tracking of Sonapost postal packages
The Sonapost tracking number allows you to find a shipment and its transit status. Information is generated for each stage of the shipment in a unified tracking system.
The sender can obtain the tracking number for a Sonapost shipment by registering it at the post office. You can also register a shipment remotely. Remember, however, that electronic registration does not guarantee that the sender has actually sent the item.
