Cpost International is the Curaçao's national postal operator, providing shipping services both domestically and internationally. In addition to standard deliveries, it also handles package deliveries. As part of the EMS cooperative, Cpost International is an official operator for the delivery of EMS shipments.
As a member of the Universal Postal Union, Cpost International carries out its work in accordance with the rules of the Universal Postal Convention, which regulates the international exchange of mail between members. An important point of this regulation is the prohibition of transporting certain materials; Cpost International has no right to make such shipments. These include explosive, flammable or radioactive substances, as well as other dangerous contents, counterfeit and pirated products, products of an obscene or immoral nature, etc.
Which tracking numbers does Cpost International use?
Cpost International assigns a tracking number to all EMS shipments and packages. Small packages may not have tracking and be sent without it.
The international postal identifier consists of an alphanumeric sequence:
RA123456785CW: small packages from Curaçao weighing up to 2 kg always start with the letter R, from the word Registered;
CD123456785CW: the tracking number for Curaçao Post shipments weighing up to 20 kg always starts with the letter C;
EE123456785CW: EMS express deliveries start with the letter E.
According to the international format of the Universal Postal Union, the structure of the tracking number has a specific meaning for each letter and digit:
First letter R/C/E: indicates the type of shipment. A Curaçao Post tracking number that starts with the letter R (Registered) designates registered small packages;
123456785: this numerical sequence provides a uniqueness;
CW: refers to the country of the originating postal service.
Tracking of Curaçao Post postal packages
